Simple Steps to Bring Back Our Life
We lastly ended our discussion on climate change at……
Where are we? Which group we belong too….. and who is responsible?
I still remember my childhood, what a life it was…….
Without plastic, vehicles and noise…..
Plenty of water bodies, trees …., healthy food and air. Those sparrows,
crows, maina, pigeons visiting home.
As I grew and on the name of development & life style kept losing
all these
The only gain I had is
Stressful life, unhealthy food, polluted air, unending garbage, noise…..
Isn’t It true…………My eyes are
still searching that life. We never had car, we use to walk or ride cycle,
there was no hurry, always use to enjoy life in neighborhood gardens. Picnics
at river side in jungles.
Where are those gardens, ponds, trees, jungles? Who stole from us…
Yes, we all are equally responsible… On the name of lifestyle, status,
privacy, luxury we kept constructing new roads, building, dams, bridges, clubs,
resorts buying new cars, scooters……
For what & whom we are developing this and on what cost…
Let’s try to work on sustainable development and environment friendly
lifestyle.

Everyone
must seed and nurture one tree in their life

This is very true... we should use eco friendly materials only. At least for this environment where we are living.....
ReplyDeleteWe can and we should surely follow the steps suggested. But it is not easy to follow these as said. Status in life has become a norm, not possible for a social man to get detatched with.
DeleteSecondly, we all should take an oath of only one car per family. Is this what we are following. Our comfort is supreme and we can sacrifice anything for that. For cool sorriunding we use A/Cs and what it takes to run ac,s we all still don't want to be bothered.
Thirdly, in the name of development, we are building roads, houses, complexes etc etc, but at the cost of Greenery and lakes and so on. Can we stop this... No. WORLD IS RULED BY SELFISH CAPITALISM, SOCIALISM IS JUST REDUCED TO HPYNOTISM.
Small steps would definety reduce impact of negative effects to nature, but that would not avoid it's destruction, it would just prolong it's destruction. Very Strong and Solid steps have to be taken and this would require a revolution.
And to be very harsh, Mother Nature would take its own course and one big natural disaster would change the ways we treat Her.
